Amnesty Week 2012 is upon us: the "food for fines" program returns to White Lake Township Library Monday, Jan. 9-Saturday, Jan. 14.

This week only, the library will forgive library fines when you help neighbors in need with a food donation to the Open Door Food Pantry.

You'll be forgiven $1 in fines for each non-perishable food item you donate at the library.

Please be aware that the library only clears fines on its own overdue items, not those of other libraries.
