We work with kids 7-17 years old who need a caring adult role model in their lives.  We make same-gender matches based on similar interests, personality types and geographic proximity.  Our mentors and mentees do fun things in the community, such as bowling, going to movies, crafts, grabbbing something to eat, sporting events...our motto is that you should just do what you already enjoy doing, but bring a youth along with you!) All of the kids in our program actively want a mentor and many have been waiting for a very long time (we currently have over 60 kids on our waitlist).  The time commitment is very manageable- it is only 2-4 hours twice a month.  This is a fun, flexible and rewarding way to give back to your community and make a difference in the life of a child!
