Argentine Township Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash; Candidate, Blogger Fight in Front of Shelby Township Polls

1. David Spencer, a 52-year-old man, who recently moved to Argentine Township from Commerce Township, was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle Monday evening, according to the Tri-County Times
2. A Farmington man is expected to face charges after police say he pretended to be drowning in a Commerce Township gravel pit where he was swimming with his girlfriend, reported Farmington Patch.
3. An altercation between a Township candidate, her husband, the wife of another candidate and a local blogger broke out Tuesday afternoon in front of precincts in Shelby Township and Patch captured video of the fight, on Shelby-Utica Patch.
4. Incumbent Sheriff Bob Bezotte Won the Race for Livingston County Sheriff in Tuesday's primary, according to Hartland Patch.
5. The Flint Journal ran a great story on Grand Blanc's Geena Gall's Olympic appearance in the 800 meter run, focusing on her family's reaction.

When it comes to election time, every one has the right to feel how they choose. We may not all always agree. Please be better examples for the up and coming young voters of our community and country. Making scenes and acting out certainly is not the way to handle difference of opinions.
