Deer Crashes Through Window at Local Business
Deer disrupts business at Lakeside Window, escapes to area woods.
Employees at Lakeside Window in White Lake called police after a deer crashed through a side window at the business and was running loose in the building.
Fortunately, according to the report, the deer was able to leave the business through the same window without injury.
The report states that White Lake Police were called Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. because employees weren't sure how to get the frightened deer out of the building.
Prior to police arrival, the deer was able to get out and returned to the wooded area near the business.
There was only minimal damage reported, the report said.
Batteries taken from barn
More than $1,300 in marine batteries were taken from a barn in White Lake.
According to the report, the incident happened sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at a home on the 7000 block of Highland Road.
