It’s Thursday and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Don't worry: Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks for this weekend:

1. CLUE THE MUSICAL TRYOUTS 

Where/when: Try out at Central United Methodist Church, 3882 Highland Rd,, Waterford; 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for upcoming Lakeland Players performance.

Why go: Didn’t you always want to be on the stage?

2. PLAY WITH CLAY

Where/when: Indian Springs Metropark Environmental Discovery Center; 1 p.m. Sunday.

Why go: Stretch your creativity; what you make with clay is limited only by your imagination.

Pricing: Cost is $5 per person plus park entry (a daily pass is $5).

3. JAPANESE SUSHI CLASS

Where/when: Colasanti's Market & Snook's Butcher Shoppe, 468 S. Milford Rd., Highland; 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday.

Why go: Start off the weekend a little early and perfect your sushi-rolling skills.

Pricing: $30, but you must register in advance in person at the store office; call 248-887-0012 or 248-887-3205 if you have questions.

4. SINGLES DINNER AND DANCE

Where/when: Janelle's Banquet Hall, 9072 Silver Lake Rd., Linden; 7 p.m.-midnight Saturday.

Why go: Dinner and dancing night out with other singles living nearby for a reasonable price.

Pricing: $15

5. PSYCHIC FAIR

Where/when: John’s Pizzeria, 1492 North Leroy St., Fenton; 5-10 p.m. Saturday.

Why go? Unique, affordable event close to home may give you a glimpse into the future or the chance to contact a deceased loved one; angel card, tarot card or other readings are available.

Pricing: Free admission; readings start at $10.
