Residents in Highland Township are invited to the annual Highland Township Tree Lighting and Sing Along event in Veteran's Park in Highland.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. at the corner of John Street and W. Livingston. The event will be outside, so guests should dress accordingly.

Residents can expect holiday caroling, cookies and cider.

In addition, Santa is expected to make an appearance to light the tree. Following the tree lighting children can visit with Santa at Highland Station House.
