Individual district tournaments were held throughout the state on Saturday and the Lakeland Wrestlers found themselves grappling with some of the best at Hartland High School.

At the end of a long day, with many ups and a couple downs along the way, Lakeland's two senior captains found themselves on the podium.

Both taking third place, Brandon Calma at 112 pounds and Kyle Babin at 125 pounds, they will make their next stop at the regional tournament at Davison High School next Saturday.

A top four finish at Davison will send these wrestlers to the state tournament to be held March 1 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
