Lakeland's DECA Executive Team to Speak to School Board
The Huron Valley Schools Board of Education is set to meet Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. at Milford High School.
Lakeland's DECA executive team is expected to speak at Monday's school board meeting.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Milford High School.
DECA, according to the district, is a program that aims to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
Monday, students from Lakeland's team will share with the board what DECA is, how they compete, what they've learned as part of the DECA program, and what the program's goals are for the 2012-2013 school year.
