Lakeland Update

A look at news from Lakeland High School.

Hello all! Scott Rolando here with this week's Lakeland update. Here we go!

Education

Chinese 360: Lakeland High School is proud to announce that we are offering students the opportunity to take Chinese as a foreign language beginning this fall. This class will be taught online through direct instruction from a teacher in China. Students will have the ability to interact with the teacher through the use of a webcam each day. This class is exciting as it will take you through Chinese virtually using the words you learn as your personal avatar takes trips through China. If you are interested in signing up for the class, it runs during 3rd hour, please see you counselor on the first day of school.

School Start Times: Don't forget that the school start times have changed. School now starts at 7:19am and gets out at 2:03pm.
