Man wanted in car theft caught in Pontiac

The 25-year-old wanted for stealing his father's car and cash was arrested Thursday morning in Pontiac, according to White Lake police.

Nankervis said the Oakland County Fugitive Apprehension Team found the man in Pontiac walking around with a lock-box containing the stolen cash and other items. The man was picked up by White Lake police and lodged in Oakland County Jail.

On Tuesday, the man left a note on the refrigerator of his father's home that said he was taking his father's car, and that gave a location where it might be found.
