Supporters Rally for Patrick O'Rourke, Details Released in Sexual Harassment Complaint by Holly Police Chief

1. Thousands mourned Officer Patrick O'Rourke, 39, of Fenton, a West Bloomfield policeman who was shot in the line of duty Sunday night as he responded to an emergency. O'Rourke's funeral was Friday at St. John Catholic Church in Fenton, Fenton Patch reported.
2. The 40th annual Applefest at St. John Catholic Church got underway on Thursday, as the first of about 100,000 began visiting the carnival and other attractions, Fenton Patch said.
3. A White Lake man, 53, died Wednesday after losing control of his motorcycle and being hit by several cars on southbound U.S. 23, Hartland Patch reported. The Tri-County Times said the motorcyclist, Christopher Muncy, was general manager at Panera Bread in Fenton.
4. The Belle Isle Aquarium in Detroit reopened Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reported. It was the country's oldest continuously operating aquarium, before it closed April 2005.
5. Details have been released in a sexual harassment complaint made by former Holly Police Chief Elena Danishevskaya, The Holly Express reports.
