White Lake-Highland Patch Editor Takes on New Role
Editors Nicole Krawcke and Tatum Ryan will join Brooke Tajer in writing about our towns.
After serving for more than two years as the editor of White Lake Patch, which added Highland to its coverage area last year, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch -- one that will encourage readers to take more control over the site, posting stories, events and announcements that are important to you.
My new role will be more of a regional one, working with eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to White Lake-Highland Patch.
You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person -- White Lake is my hometown, after all.
Editors Tatum Ryan and Nicole Krawcke (from Hartland Patch and Brighton Patch) will be stepping up to help add additional coverage to White Lake-Highland Patch. Both are wonderfully talented and more than capable of giving you all the news, features and information you need about White Lake and Highland. We have some very exciting stories planned and I can't wait to share them all with you.
You can continue to send me news tips at brooke.meier@patch.com, but you can also contact Nicole at Nicole.Krawcke@patch.com or 517-488-5886, and Tatum at tatum.ryan@patch.com or 810-623-1431.
2013 is on track to be an amazing year and I can't wait to continue to grow our communities here in White Lake and Highland.
Thank you for three wonderful years as your editor, I'm very excited for what the future has in store for me, you and our hometowns. I'll be seeing you around!

Brooke has been a great Patch editor and has left some pretty big shoes for Tatum and I to fill! But we're very happy that she'll still be working with us in the White Lake-Highland area!
