With 12 of 12 precincts reporting, Greg Baroni (R) has retained his position as White Lake Township Supervisor. While the results are still unofficial, Baroni had 60 percent of the vote, and Michael Smith (D) had 39 percent of the vote.

Tuesday, 11:20 p.m.

Unofficial results are in for the Oakland County Commissioner 2nd District Race. With 26 of 26 precincts reporting Bob Hoffman (R) has won the seat with 62 percent of the vote. Sherlynn Everly (D) earned 37 percent of the vote.

Tuesday, 9:01 p.m.

Unofficial Highland Township results are in. With 8 of 8 precincts reporting, Rick Hamill has won the township supervisor race. See the graphs below for vote totals in all Highland races.

Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. Highland

Highland Township Clerk Mary McDonell said voter turnout in Highland has been heavy.

"Our precincts were packed this morning," McDonell said. "We've had a steady stream of voters all day."

McDonell said the township sent out more than 3,000 absentee ballots for Tuesday's election, and that so far, no problems have been reported.

"Things have been running smoothly today, I've very pleased," McDonell said.

Tuesday, 3 p.m. White Lake

Election workers at Precinct 5 in White Lake said they had their first real lull in voters at noon today, but that turnout so far has been consistent.

"We've had 480 voters for far," Paula, an election worker, said at noon. "We've been busy all day, there was a line of people here at 6:30 a.m. this morning."

At the Clerk's office, White Lake officials said they haven't heard of any problems at polls and that voters have been steady at the polls all day.

White Lake has issued more than 5,000 absentee ballots for today's election. The absentee ballots and write-in candidates for several races could delay the announcement of results tonight after the polls close, according to officials.

Tuesday, 10:45 a.m.

Tuesday, 9:20 a.m.

A steady stream of voters have been showing up to precincts in White Lake and Highland.

White Lake resident Laura Vogel said she was voter number 100 at precinct 10 in White Lake at 7:45 a.m. "There wasn't a line at all, about 30 carrels and a few open so you can walk right up," she said.

White Lake-Highland Patch reader Chris White said he was number 69 in line at 7 a.m. at his precinct in Commerce Township, and that he cast the 87th ballot.

"It was the longest line I can remember at the opening of the polls in the eight years I have been here," White said. "That may be inconvenient for some, but it is a good thing."

Polls are open until 8 p.m.
