The White Lake Township Water Department issued a public notice letting residents know spring hydrant flushing will begin starting next month.

Every Monday through Friday, starting April 8, hydrant flushing will be going on between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work will continue for four weeks, until May 3. 

Signs will be posted at the subdivision or development entrance the preceding day. 

Customers may experience some discolored water. They should run cold water to clear water lines and avoid doing laundry until the water is clear.
