White Lake Township Board of Trustees Meets Today
The board will discuss participation in 2013 Tri-Party Program and hold second readings for the excavation and extraction and cemetery ordinances.
The White Lake Township Board of Trustees will meet for its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Township Hall.
Items on the agenda include:
- A Public Hearing for Aspen Meadows Street Lighting
- Second reading on excavation and extraction ordinance
- Second reading on cemetery ordinance
- Grinder Pump policy
- 2013 Tri-Party participation
- North Broadmoor sidewalk connection

Thank you for getting a paper copy of the agenda, scanning it, and then posting it here as a PDF. The White Lake Twp official website still has no agenda posted (see http://www.whitelaketwp.com/meetingdetails.asp?MAId=247) as of just moments ago. This remains problematic, as it fails to give folks who can't physically traipse to the twp office between the hours of 8-5 the ability to have any notice about what is to be discussed. Of course, the diversion of regular fund monies to the sewer fund was not on last month's agenda, so even posting the agenda in advance is no guarantee that you'll know what is being discussed, but at least it's better than nothing which is what we have this month.

Disappointing too Laura is that no mention is made of televising board meetings or at least making them available over the internet.
Transparency was a HUGE issue in the last election but this board seems unwilling to address this problem.
If you were to start a petition to get this on the ballot in next years election Laura I would be more than happy to help you circulate it.

it has been six months, and still nothing on the formal agenda about televising and/or recording the meetings for remote/later reply.
The weather may be warming up, but the sun still does not shine in the halls of White Lake government.
