Voters in the Huron Valley School District overwhelmingly approved the district's request for a non-homestead millage renewal.
The millage, according to the district, will bring in more than $9 million for the district's annual budget.
The millage renewal received 18,728 yes votes, and 10,735 no votes.
In addition to the millage, two seats on the Huron Valley Schools Board of Education were decided.
Current board member Lisa Blackwell won 35.87 percent of the vote and will retain her seat. Beth Lewis will joining Blackwell on the board of education - she won 23.87 percent of the vote. The other candidates, Jerry Aubry and Eric Wallis, had 19.63 percent and 20.25 percent of the vote respectively.
