Your Fit Club, a 24-hour fitness club in White Lake, is relocating from its location at Fisk Corners to the former Blockbuster/AT&T building near Walmart according to White Lake Township officials.

Renovations on the space have been underway for more than a week, township Planning Director Sean O'Neil said.

"I believe they are trying to open in the next few weeks if they can finish the necessary work," O'Neil said.

I was hoping they would put a Christmas Tree Shops there. (Yes that's the correct name.) http://www.christmastreeshops.com/ I've been out to the one in Utica a few times now and it is awesome. They're owned by Bed, Bath and Beyond. I still have hope that this area will get one some day.

This sounds great! Parking at Fisk Corners is always tight, so having more room for parking should help Your Fit Club (YFC) attract more business. Plus having their own building helps make it easier to spot from the road. To be honest, I didn't even know YFC was in Fisk Corners in the first place, it's hard to notice the store names as you're whizzing along M-59.
It's somewhat ironic that the AT&T store which used to be here, and which moved to Fisk Corners when that plaza opened up, that YFC is moving east from the now-existing AT&T store to go back to the building left vacant by AT&T. Hopefully, the soon-to-be-vacant YFC location in the Fisk Corners development will be back-filled by either an expansion of an existing store or a new retailer taking up roots.
