Currently Highland is wide open for RD or Rural Development home financing. This could change in October 2014. Most big lenders do not offer the program so you'll have to work with a local bank/lender to find out if you're eligible.
Here are some key points to consider:
-Is your household income less than $93,000 annually?
-Are you looking to buy a home in Livingston County?
-Is your credit in reasonable shape?
-Do you know where to look for more information on the Rural Development loan?
