Community Update

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners will begin a series of budget hearings on Thursday, July 25 to review the 2014-2016 Fiscal Year Recommended Triennial Budget.

All of the meetings are open to the public and will be held at the Oakland County Board of Commissioners’ Committee Room A, located at 1200 North Telegraph Road in Pontiac, according to a news release from the county.

The hearings will be held following the regular Finance Committee agenda, which begins at 9 a.m.

The first meeting on Thursday will review the County Executive’s Recommended Balanced Triennial Budget for FY 2014 consisting of $799,148,947, FY 2015 consisting of $806,053,332 and FY 2016 consisting of $813,406.699.

The committee will review the budgets for all county departments during the hearings.
