The National Weather Service says we can expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 35 today.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Monday night was $3.09 per gallon at the Speedway gas station at 31275 Haggerty Rd & 14 Mile Rd.
3. On this day in history
On this day in 1884, in Washington, D.C., workers completed construction on the Washington Monument. Made of some 36,000 blocks of marble and granite and stacked 555 feet in the air, the monument was the tallest structure in the world at the time of its completion. Today, more than 800,000 people visit the monument each year.
