All American Girls Professional League Baseball Player To Speak in Highland
Mary Moore, an All American Girls Professional League Baseball player, is speaking at the Highland Public Library Saturday.
You've seen the movie "A League of Their Own". Come to the library and meet Mary Moore, a real life All American Girls Professional League Baseball Player. Mary, a White Lake resident, will speak and answer questions relating to her experiences as a professional baseball player in the early 1950's. Be sure to ask her about playing in Yankee Stadium and meeting Casey Stengel, Phil Rizutto, Joe DiMaggio and Whitey Ford!
The event is Saturday from 3-5 p.m.
