'Christmas in July' Boat Parade Fills White Lake with the Holiday Spirit

Holiday decorated boats cruised around White Lake Saturday before the fireworks display.

The “Christmas in July” Boat Parade filled White Lake with holiday-themed boats under sunny skies Saturday.

Family teams decorated pontoon boats to compete in the annual event sponsored by the White Lake Citizens League and judges had a challenge to identify the top boats.

Rick Scorey and team took first place with a boat that featured family members caroling while pulling Santa in his sleigh.
