Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus Arrive in White Lake
White Lake Tree Lighting draws large crown Wednesday night.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus arrived in White Lake on Wednesday evening before a large crowd of excited boys and girls. Santa took the last part of his trip from the North Pole on a White Lake Township fire truck. Township Supervisor Greg Baroni presented Santa with the key to White Lake Township to the delight of the holiday crowd.
A huge cheer was heard throughout the township when the large Christmas tree was lit. Kids of all ages presented their Christmas lists to Santa and Mrs. Claus. The White Lake Middle School Show choir performed along with the Rochester College Carolers.
The Art of the Dance team of dancers dazzled the crowd with a series of holiday performances. The White Lake Fire Department helped the kids make s’mores over a roaring camp fire. The kids enjoyed making holiday crafts thanks to the Friends of the Library. Amazing ice sculptors were created while the kids sipped hot chocolate and cider provided by the White Lake Kroger.
