Santa Claus Arrives in Huron Valley

Annual Christmas parade kicks off the holiday season in downtown Milford Saturday.

Santa Claus arrived in Huron Valley on Saturday morning in downtown Milford. Boys and girls of all ages were excited to see Mr. Claus parade down Main Street at the annual Christmas Parade presented by the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. Snow flurries made the parade even more festive along with frosty winds from the North Pole.

Dancers, cub scouts, girl scouts, plus the Milford High School and Lakeland High School bands entertained the large crowd that lined up on Main Street all the way to Huron Street. Ron McDonald from the Milford McDonald's had fun on the snowy morning. The Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Ambassador of the Year were all applauded by the big crowd. This year’s annual parade which, is a Huron Valley tradition, was sponsored by Americus Coney & Grill and Tavern 131.
