A Gift for the Holidays: A Piano Extravaganza

Milford resident Walt Matzke brings together area musicians for a holiday spectacular at Lakeland High School.

The popular Piano Extravaganza is back.

Guests are invited to attend this year's Piano Extravaganza at Lakeland High School Dec. 8 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The show's executive assistant Donalee Knowlton said this year's holiday concerts will feature four master pianists who will bring March of the Toys and other holiday favorites to life on four grand pianos.

"This extraordinary concert also features 8 exceptional local pianists, spirited percussionists and the wonderful Oak Valley Middle School Choirs," she said. "Come and enjoy new arrangements and familiar songs such as Silent Night, Carol of the Bells, Hallelujah Chorus and more leading to an amazing finale with 24 hands on 4 pianos that you won’t want to miss."

Proceeds from the event will help support the Huron Valley Optimist club.
