Kids Enjoy Movie in Judy Hawley Park

Popular event brings movies under the stars to White Lake.

More than 150 kids took part in the movie in the park event at Judy Hawley Park Saturday evening where “How To Train Your Dragon” was featured on the big screen. 

Prior to the movie, kids got to have fun in bounce houses provided by Oakland County Parks and Recreation. 

Larry and Margaret Ostrowski made special balloons for the kids as dusk fell. The kids also enjoyed popsicles provided by the White Lake Parks and Recreation Committee.

A second event will be held on Aug. 20. The movie “Secretariat” will be shown.
