Local Kids to Participate in Local Production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella

White Lake family says it's excited to participate in the P.A. Drama Company youth theater production.

The P.A. Drama Company is proud to present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at Milford High School March 8 to March 10.

The show will be a condensed version of the popular classic, including songs, charm, elegance and merriment.

White Lake resident Grace LaFramboise, 12, will play the part of the stepmother. LaFramboise said she enjoys taking part in the show because of the friends she's made.

"It's also a great learning experience," She said. "There are a lot of interesting costumes that take us back to another place and time. Even if you don't like the costumes its still fun to be able to dress up."

Grace's brother Jake LaFramboise, 8, plays a footman and is part of the chorus.

"It's really nervous being onstage but when you do your lines and it works out good it makes you happy and you feel awesome," Jake said.

P.A. Drama is a youth theater group that has been performing in the Huron Valley area for the last decade.

The show will run March 8 at 7 p.m, March 9 at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 per person, or $6 per person for groups of 15 or more.

Tickets can be purchased at the Little Theater at Milford High School (2390 S. Milford Road) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. Because previous shows have sold out in the past, advanced tickets are suggested.
