Former Highland Bowling Alley Sold to LaFontaine Automotive Group
Former Olympic Lanes bowling alley on Milford Road was purchased earlier this year, and will be remodeled into a storage facility.
LaFontaine Automotive Group has purchased the former Olympic Lanes bowling alley off Milford Road in Highland, according to an article in the Milford Times.
The article states that LaFontaine is planning to remodel the existing building and turn it into a storage facility for automotive parts and retail boutique inventory.
LaFrontaine currently has two dealerships in Highland.
Oakland County foreclosed on the bowling alley property for back taxes of nearly $160,000 in February 2011, and, the article states, the building has been vacant since that time.
