How did your business come to be?: Rich was looking to start his own business after working for his father for many years. He had a friend who wanted to start a tree trimming & removal business so Rich joined him, but the friend didn't last. Rich loved the business and stuck it out. He continued working for his father through the winter while saving money to purchase equipment. When spring came he purchased the necessary equipment & the rest is history!
What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: Oak trees should only be trimmed after the first frost in the fall through the winter until March. This will help prevent oak wilt.
What services does your business provide?: We offer tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding. We also do some planting, which depends in the size of the tree the customer is requesting.
What do you want your business to be best known for?: We want our business to be known for our professional & reliable work ethic. We also strive to provide our customers with valuable service.
What's your most popular product or service?: Our services as a whole are equally popular. I can't say we do any more removals than trimming or stump grinding.
When was the business founded?: September 1999.
Why did you choose to locate to the area?: Rich grew up in the area, and has never really left. He lived in Waterford for a time but came back to White Lake. Now we live in Highland on Duck Lake. The Tree Corp can be reached at 248-889-0362.
