Small Business Saturday is coming up Nov. 24. To celebrate, White Lake-Highland Patch asked you what local small business you can't live without. Here's what you said on the White Lake-Highland Patch Facebook page:
Kelly Brittingham – "Marketplace meats for sure! They have the best meats in town, and I've been going there since I was a kid"
Cindy Collins – "I love the Coney Island on the corner of Duck Lake and M-59. Best breakfast ever and their fries are addicting!"
Sandy Faloon Neace – "Dave's coney! They have the best chicken and dumpling soup!"
Amandalyn Woodbeck – "Highland House Restaurant. I love the greek salad and bread sticks."
Amanda Eggert – "Pomodoro!"
Matt Leonhardt – "Trifles"
Scott Rolando – "I would say Dave and Amy's. They have some of the best breakfasts in the area. I also love El Patio in Waterford for Mexican. Just the best food, super fast, and good all the way around."
Jesse Richardson – "Crazy Gator Pizza on N. Milford Road (across from Apollo Elementary) next to 7-Eleven in Highland."
Carrie Davidson – "Greek Jalapeno on Cooley Lake Rd. They have really good food."
Kimmie Ayers Sadler – "Dee's cafe"
Maggie Duke – "We love the village butcher in Milford for meats"
Andrew Stoddard – "Motor City Guitar! They are a REAL guitar shop. Not the best buy of musical instruments (guitar center)"
Erica Sikma – "Highland Feed. Definitely my favorite...or at least my zoo's favorite!"
