Construction of the White Lake Tractor Supply Company store, the 70th in Michigan, is underway. Company officials say the store could be completed in late October.
“Tractor Supply looks forward to being a member of the White Lake community,” said District Manager Brian Blausey. “White Lake is a great fit due to the part-time and hobby farmers, and horse owners in the area.”
According to a press release from the company, the White Lake Tractor Supply store will be located at 10150 Highland Road, and will employ 12 to 17 full-and part-time team members. The store will include sales floor and support service space. A fenced exterior space will be used for storage and displaying items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.
Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and has been operating in Michigan since 1960, the release states.
The contractor for the project, Wolverine Building Group of Grand Rapids, began construction on April 29. A completion date has been tentatively set for late October.
