Visions for Vacancies: What Should Happen to the Former Ripples Restaurant?

You don't need to be an urban planner to know what White Lake needs from this vacancy. Talk about it on Patch.

Starting this week, White Lake Patch is starting a new feature: Visions for Vacancies. In this feature, which will alternate with Talk About Town every other week, Patch will ask what type of business you would like to see move into vacant buildings and spaces in the community.

Today, we start with Ripples of the Lakes, a restaurant that closed its doors in 2011 after more than 20 years in business. It was a White Lake staple, and since the restaurant's closure, the building has remained vacant.

According to its listing, the 3,000-square-foot building is for sale for $399,900 and includes the restaurant's inventory of tables, booths and kitchen equipment.
