“We are excited for the opportunity to work with Covanta to develop an implementation strategy that will meet their needs head-on,” said Prokes. “By utilizing our knowledge and passion for PeopleSoft applications, we can help design and create solutions for Covanta that will enhance and streamline their business processes.”
MIPRO was selected by Covanta to lead a two-phase PeopleSoft Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) implementation project called IMPACT, which will include the Maintenance Management module, at their 46 facilities across the country. Phase one will involve the implementation of Maintenance Management and Inventory, as well as any required configurations with existing modules. This phase will rollout to three pilot facilities with deployment scheduled for fourth quarter 2013. Phase two will commence upon stable deployment at the pilot sites and will involve a complete rollout to Covanta’s remaining 43 facilities.
“We selected MIPRO for this implementation as a direct result of the PeopleSoft-specific knowledge and real-world ALM experience they bring to the table,” said Frank Miller, VP of Maintenance Technology for Covanta Energy. “MIPRO really listened to our objectives and, in turn, is initiating this project with a comprehensive understanding of our business process needs.”
MIPRO anticipates that full deployment for the project to all Covanta facilities across the country will occur in fourth quarter 2014.
