Robin Aire Heating & Cooling Participates in Project Heat Day

Robin Aire Heating & Cooling, located in Wixom, continued their tradition of participating in the Al Keats - Project Heat Day in December.  Project Heat Day is managed by the Southeast Michigan chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (SEMIACCA).  Over the last 27 years, SEMIACCA has completed  over 1,700 free furnace tune-ups and repairs, and replaced approximately 70 furnaces - at no charge to local senior citizens in need.  SEMIACCA members have also installed over 250 free carbon monoxide alarms in the last eight years.

Robin Aire President, Matthew Winnie, and Technician, Mike Greulich worked all day on a December Saturday, despite the freezing cold temperatures.  Serving the community, especially those in need, is always a priority for Winnie.  This feeling has been passed along from Winnie’s father, Robin, who founded Robin Aire.  “My family has always found joy in helping others.  Having the ability to share the services of Robin Aire with the community in need is something for which I’m quite grateful”, says Winnie.
