The National Weather Service says we can expect mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 39. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Wednesday night was $3.34 per gallon at the gas station.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1887, Groundhog Day, featuring a rodent meteorologist, was celebrated for the first time at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. According to tradition, if a groundhog comes out of its hole on this day and sees its shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather; no shadow means an early spring.
