1. The weather

The National Weather Service says we can expect a 50 percent chance of rain after noon along with patchy fog. Otherwise, there will be increasing clouds, with a high near 36. Monday night rain is likely before 1 a.m., then rain likely, possibly mixed with snow. Skies will be cloudy, with a low around 34.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Sunday night was $3.47 per gallon at the gas station.

3. On this day in history

According to History.com, on this day in 1919, the 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, prohibiting the "manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes," was ratified on this day and became the law of the land.
