Good morning, White Lake, here's what you need to know about today.
1. The weather
The National Weather Service says we can expect rain before 1 p.m., then rain and snow between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., then snow after 4 p.m. Temperatures will stay around 41. Tuesday night there will be a 40 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 1 a.m. Skies will be cloudy, with a low around 18.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Monday night was $3.45 per gallon at the gas station.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, on this day in 1950, 11 men stole more than $2 million from the Brinks Armored Car depot in Boston, Massachusetts. It was the perfect crime--almost--as the culprits weren't caught until January 1956, just days before the statute of limitations for the theft expired.
