1. The weather
The National Weather Service says we can expect a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 94. Tuesday night there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Monday night was $3.42 per gallon at the gas station. In Highland, the Citgo station on Milford Road had the lowest gas price, $3.45.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1863, on the third day of the Battle of Gettysburg, Confederate General Robert E. Lee's last attempt at breaking the Union line ends in disastrous failure, bringing the most decisive battle of the American Civil War to an end.
