1. The weather
The National Weather Service says we can expect mostly sunny skies, with a high near 97. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 69.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Wednesday night was $3.47 per gallon at the gas station. In Highland, the Citgo station on Milford Road has the lowest gas price, $3.45.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1953, workers at a Chevrolet plant in Flint, Michigan, assemble the first Corvette, a two-seater sports car that would become an American icon. The first completed production car rolled off the assembly line two days later, one of just 300 Corvettes made that year.
