2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Tuesday night was $4.08 per gallon at the gas station.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1979, the worst accident in the history of the U.S. nuclear power industry began when a pressure valve in the Unit-2 reactor at Three Mile Island failed to close. Cooling water, contaminated with radiation, drained from the open valve into adjoining buildings, and the core began to dangerously overheat.
