The National Weather Service says we can expect areas of fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, skies will be cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Tuesday night there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Monday night was $3.79 per gallon at the gas station.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1931, President Herbert Hoover officially dedicates New York City's Empire State Building, pressing a button from the White House that turns on the building's lights. Hoover's gesture, of course, was symbolic; while the president remained in Washington, D.C., someone else flicked the switches in New York.
