1. The weather
The National Weather Service says we can expect patchy fog before 7 a.m. Skies will be otherwise, sunny, with a high near 54. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 42.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Wednesday night was $3.13 per gallon at the gas station located at M-59 and Teggerdine.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1859, On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, a groundbreaking scientific work by British naturalist Charles Darwin, is published in England. Darwin's theory argued that organisms gradually evolve through a process he called "natural selection." In natural selection, organisms with genetic variations that suit their environment tend to propagate more descendants than organisms of the same species that lack the variation, thus influencing the overall genetic makeup of the species.
