1. The weather

The National Weather Service says we can expect rain. Highs will be near 55 degrees and the day will be breezy, with a northeast wind around 21 mph. Wednesday night will also be rainy with lows around 46 degrees. The night will be breezy, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

2. Gas prices

According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Tuesday night was $3.34 per gallon at the Meijer gas station located at M-59 and Bogie.

3. On this day in history

According to History.com, on this day in 1784, an editorial appeared in the Gazette of the United States that attacked presidential candidate Thomas Jefferson. The editorial, written by a person named "Phocion" accused Jefferson of having an affair with one of his slaves. The history channel states, "Rumors that the widowed Jefferson had an affair with one of his slaves persist to this day and have spawned years of scholarly and scientific research."
