1. Spring Concert - St. Patrick of White Lake

  • When: Sunday, May 5, 2013, 7:00 pm
  • Where: St. Patrick Parish, 9086 Hutchins St, White Lake
  • What:Β This musical extravaganza will showcase wonderful songs which recall many of the most memorable Gospel stories of Jesus. These inspirational and touching songs were composed by the famous composer, Marty Haugen, who wrote dozens of the familiar pieces which we sing at Mass throughout the year. Featured in this production will be more than fifty talented singers and band members. Admission to this very special event is absolutely free. All are invited to come and share this marvelous music with us and to join us at the splendid reception following the show.

2. Ladies Night Out in Downtown Brighton!

  • When: Thursday, May 2, 2013, 6:00 pm
  • Where: Brighton City Hall, 200 N 1st St, Brighton
  • What: Get ready for spring and Mother's Day with your girlfriends during this Ladies Night Out event! Shop for the perfect spring trends and pick up some gifts for mom! Enjoy great dining, specials and refreshments offered by participating stores and restaurants! Your favorite downtown merchants will also have fantastic activities for you to enjoy. This event is always a hit, so don’t miss this exciting night!

3. Hartland High School Drama Club proudly presents Tarzan

  • When: Friday, May 3, 2013, 7:30 pm
  • Where: Hartland High School, 10635 Dunham Rd, Hartland
  • What: Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes and the smash-hit 1999 Disney animated film, Tarzan tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a
    tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness. When a human expedition enters their territory, Tarzan - now a man - encounters strangers like himself for the first time. Tarzan features music and lyrics by pop icon Phil Collins including the Grammy and Oscar winning song, "You'll Be in My Heart", and book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang.
