It’s Thursday and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Don't worry: Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks for this weekend:

1.

When/where: Saturday, 7 p.m., 625 S Hickory Ridge Rd, Milford.

Why go: Community Sharing's Summerfest BBQ is "a casual, come-as-you-are event, it's scheduled for  Dinner features ribs, chicken, pasta, baked beans, dessert and more — catered by Billy's Tip ‘n Inn.

Price: $50 per person, with optional bottomless souvenir glass for beer or wine for $10

When/where: Saturday, 9 a.m., 532 W Highland Rd, Highland

Why go: Check out the brand new Salvation Army in Highland. Expect a crowd, great deals, a live broadcast by 104.3 WOMC-FM and a visit from Detroit Tigers mascot Paws. Donation will also be accepted.

Price: Free.

 When/where: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at

Why go: Check out all this market has to offer, including baked goods, produce, plants and art.

Price: Free.

Where/when: Sunday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. at W Commerce St and N Main St, Milford.

Why go: The 2011 edition of the Milford Criterium is expected to provide "the complete race experience" as well as a purse of more than $5,630, including prizes and primes. A criterium, commonly referred to as a "crit," is a short, multi-lap, closed circuit road cycling race traditionally held in an urban setting. A healthy lifestyles expo will take place in the CarQuest parking lot on Main Street. Parking is suggested at either Muir Middle School or Baker Elementary School

Price: Price ranges from $5-$35 to pre-register depending on age and classification ($10 extra to register on race day)

5.

Where/When: Friday 6:30 p.m., High School's Pools and Fitness.

Why go: See an animated movie while enjoying the pool facilities. The title of the movie will be released the day of the event.

Price: $5 per person.
