Update: Nail Hits Man's Brain After Construction Equipment Misfires

Man passed away Thursday morning following accident at White Lake construction site.

Update: Patch has confirmed with the man's family that he passed away Thursday morning. A family member told Patch he was an organ donor and will be greatly missed by his family, wife and two kids.

A 33-year-old Waterford man was hospitalized last week after suffering a serious injury while working on a construction site in White Lake.

According to a report filed with the White Lake Police Department, the man was using a high powered nail gun when it misfired, sending a nail through the corner of the man's eye, and into his brain.
