Police: Man Pulls Out Gun During Fight At Walmart

A 23-year-old West Bloomfield resident was arrested Friday morning at Walmart in White Lake after police say he showed his gun during an altercation with an employee.

According to the report, the man and his brother were walking through the toy department when they said hello to an employee stocking the shelves at 6 a.m.

The report states that the two brothers got angry when the employee did not say hello back. A verbal altercation began, and the 23-year-old removed his gun from its holster and showed it to the employee after threatening to beat him up, according to the report.

Another employee broke up the argument and called police, the man and his brother ran from the store.

The two were picked up in Waterford by Waterford police and a White Lake officer.

The 23-year-old was arrested, then released pending the issuance of a warrant for brandishing a firearm and trespassing. Police said the man did have a permit to carry the hand gun, and it was confiscated while the investigation continues.

Portable toilet taken from construction site

A $600 portable toilet from John's Sanitation was taken from the front yard of a construction site on the 500 block of Red Bank Drive in White Lake, according to police.

The report states that the toilet wen missing sometime between Nov. 13 and Nov. 14.

There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
