The weather services already had warned of possible heavy rainfall, flooding and high winds are all possible as a line of thunderstorms is headed eastward toward Southeast Michigan.

"Thunderstorms within this complex have the potential to produce torrential rainfall with rainfall rates possibly exceeding one inch per hour," the reports said. "Recent heavy rainfall has left soils saturated, and streams, creeks and rivers are running higher than normal. The heavy rainfall may generate flooding and flash flooding within the watch area, especially in areas experienced that flooding within the past week."
