Storms Expected in White Lake Monday Night

National Weather Service says strong, but not severe, storms will roll through White Lake overnight.

If you have patio furniture you might want to bring in the cushions, or get it covered. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook alert for White Lake.

According to the alert, scattered thunderstorms are expected to roll through the area late Monday and into Tuesday. The strongest storms will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 40 mph, and hail up to one half-inch in diameter.

The storms will move to the northeast at 25 mph, the National Weather Service states.

These storms will develop in advance of a cold front which will move through the area early Tuesday morning.

Temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid-70's, with night time temperatures reaching a low of 54 degrees.
