Meeting


 Burglaries and Drugs-- Partners in Crime





(Pontiac,



Michigan)--- On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, Oakland County Commissioner Jim



Runestad will team up with the White Lake Township Police and Fire Departments,  White Lake Supervisor Greg Baroni, Michigan



State Representative Eileen Kowall, Michigan State Senator Mike Kowall and



Bryan’s Hope to address the rising rates of drugs and burglaries in White Lake


Township. The town hall will begin at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Dublin Senior Center, located at 685 Union Lake Road, in White Lake Township, Michigan. The town hall will focus on prevention, awareness and protection. Grandparents, parents and residents will learn how drugs are introduced to teens. They will learn the warning signs and what to look for if they suspect drug use. Local authorities will share the latest trends and the connections between increased drug use and increased crimes in the community.  

Law makers will provide insight on legislation pertaining to this



growing problem.
